GI Developments is MCS registered. MCS is a standards organization.

RECC sets out high consumer protection standards for businesses who are selling or leasing renewable energy generation systems to domestic consumers. RECC is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and is also a TrustMark Scheme Operator.

By displaying the RECC logo, members signal they have agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code, following the consumer journey from start to finish, and in the Bye-Laws. Both the Code and the Bye-Laws dovetail with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installer standards.
A requirement of the consumer code (RECC) is to provide assurance that we are registered with QANW.
RECC requires members to protect deposits and workmanship warranties.

If you are looking for a larger company that has clever sales techniques and relies on multiple sales and turnover, then you’re in the wrong place. Industry experience has taught us that as the number of employees grows, standards decrease due to the pressure put on sales teams and engineers to complete works.
GI Developments is a small company that offers a point of contact from the start of your enquiry to the completion of the works.

Our Director
GI Dev Director, Wayne McGuire, started out as a plumber before going on to qualify with domestic and commercial gas, solar and oil technologies in the heating industry.
Adding to this we now support the balanced approach for heat pump technology installations when and where suitable and with the understanding and needs of our customers.
Trading for years without any marketing is testament to our business, however, we realised that new customers should be given the opportunity to understand what our company competence and experience has to offer.
We support our industry’s efforts to clean up its act and improve working practices from old which is shown with our continued up skilling approach. This is why we are pleased to have undertaken 150/200hrs of training and exams recently provided by Heat Geek one of the industries key (leading for change) companies.
The site was created to offer our new customers confidence in what services we undertake. Upgrading to green technology can be somewhat daunting and expensive. For that reason, customers will want to see previous works and capabilities.
